Industrial Visit to KMF, Mangalore

The Department of Economics organized an industrial visit to Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), Mangalore. 

  • Participants: 36 students from BA Programme accompanied by 5 faculty members. 
  • Purpose: The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and insights into the dairy industry’s economic aspects, supply chain management, and sustainability practices. 
  • Outcome: Students gained a deeper understanding of cooperative organizations, dairy production processes, and their contribution to the regional economy.
